Banskú Bystricu sme s priateľom navštívili ešte v júli, ale konečne som sa dokopala a upravila fotky z tohto výletu. Naša cesta začala veľmi príjemne už v Prievidzi, skadiaľ sme vyrazili, a kde sme si dali tento skvelý zmrzlinový pohár.


Po príchode do BB sme sa najprv vydali na vysokú školu UMB, kde si Riško potreboval vybaviť pár vecí spojených so štúdiom, a potom už bol deň len náš. Mimochodom, bol to jeden z najhorúcejších dní tohto leta. Veľa času sme strávili najmä v mestskom parku blízko ekonomickej fakulty, nazýva sa vraj aj Leninov park, a veľmi sa mi páčilo aj pri nádhernej fontánke na námestí SNP.


Naokolo bola krásna skalka s roznými pestrofarebnými kvetmi, pri ktorej sme sa s mojou láskou aj odfotili.




Na tomto námestí máte tiež možnosť vidieť Hodinovú vežu a Mariánsky stĺp. (morový stĺp)
Na tejto fotke to síce nie je až tak vidno, ale veža sa nakláňa doľava, a preto ju volajú aj šikmá veža.


Na tomto námestí je viacero historických pamiatok. Jednou z nich je aj Čierny obelisk, ktorý bol postavený na počesť vojakov, ktorí toto mesto oslobodili (1945).

Naše kroky ďalej viedli do nákupného centra Eurovea. Po ceste som si ešte kúpila na pamiatku magnetku. Pobehali sme niekoľko obchodov, ale hlad bol silnejší, a tak sme sa vybrali na Riškove obľúbené švédske stoly v Čínskej reštaurácii. Tam sme sa teda poriadne prejedli :D


Po dobrom jedle, dobré pivo. Samozrejme už niekoľko metrov ďalej, vo veľmi príjemnej reštaurácii, ktorá je súčasťou hotela Národný dom.



Výlet sa pomaly blížil ku koncu, a tak sme sa vydali pozrieť si ešte jednu pamiatku, na ktorú počas návštevy Bystrice určite nezabudnite. Múzeum SNP sme síce nenavštívili zvnútra, ale obzreli sme si skanzen ťažkej bojovej techniky.



No to, čo mi vyrazilo dych bolo súsošie Obete varujú z Pamätníku SNP.

A po zídení týchto schodov sme sa vybrali už len na autobusovú stanicu smer Prievidza.



My boyfriend and I visited Banská Bystrica in July, but finaly I forced myself to edit the photos from this trip. Our journey already began very comfortable in Prievidza, where we started and where we had this great ice-cream sundae.

As first, after arriving to BB, we went to the college UMB, where Riško need to arrange some things connected with the study and then it was just our day . By the way, it was one of the hottest days of this summer . We spent a lot of time especially in the City park near the Faculty of Economics, also called the Lenin´s park and I really enjoyed the magnificent fountain in the Square of the Slovak National Uprising (SNU). Around the fountain there was a beautiful rock garden with various colored flowers, where I also took the photo with my love.

You have also opportunity to see The clock tower and The marian column (The plague column) on this square. This tower is also called The leaning tower because it leans to the left.
There are many historical monuments. One of them is The black obelisk which was built to the honor of soldiers who liberated this city (1945).

Our further steps led to the shopping center Eurovea. Along the way, I bought the magnet for the memory. We were in a few shops, but the hunger was stronger so we went to the Chinese restaurant to have Richard´s favourite swedish tables. After a good meal it is a time for a good beer. Of course, several meter further, in a very nice restaurant, which is a part of the National house hotel.

The trip was slowly coming to the end, so we went to see one more memory, which you shouldn´t skip during a visitation of Banská Bystrica. Although we haven´t visited the Museum SNU indoor, we saw the open-air museum of heave military equipment. But the thing, which took my breath away was a sculpture The victims´ varning of the Memorial SNU.
And after we went down these stairs our steps led just to the bus station.
